La Barge Rams Foot Cocktail Table : Pursuing Vintage

Meet one of the newest additions to the Pursuing Vintage Shop: a vintage La Barge rams foot brass hexagon cocktail table.  Isn’t she beautiful?!

Here are a few ways to style the table:

This is a classic table that can be used in either a more traditional home, or “glammed up” like the photos above.  It’s one of those pieces that can work just about anywhere!

Be sure to follow me on Instagram to see the latest additions to the shop!

Have you seen my parrots?

I have to give credit to my friend, Rachael, who corrected me – evidently they are cockatoos!  Either way – aren’t they beautiful?!

I think they would be perfect in this 1960’s-inspired Palm Beach dining room designed by Meg Braff.  Yes, Meg Braff, this is me telling you that your stunning room is missing these amazing birds!

And here’s a similar bird on this fabulous bar cart:

Get the look!  My parrots cockatoos are available in The Pursuing Vintage Shop.

Earlier in the week I shared my Favorite Finds of 2014.  Now it’s time for some wishin’ and hopin’.

Pursuing Vintage 2015 Wish List

When I go out pursuing vintage, I look for pieces that speak to me, that would work in today’s decor, and add interest to a space.  I don’t carry a shopping list.  But, in the back of my mind, there are always a few things I’m keeping an eye out for.  There are pieces for my own home that I’d like – as well as pieces that would be fun to offer through the Pursuing Vintage Shop.

In my own home, I’m on the look-out for a vintage classroom map.  I’d like the roll-down type, and preferably one that features either the entire US, Virginia, or Illinois (where we have family).

I’d also like a dining room table.  I found terrific faux bamboo dining chairs in 2014, and now I need a great table to showcase them.  I prefer a pedestal table – and oval would be best in my space.  Other than that criteria, I don’t really know what I’m looking for.  I think I’ll know it when I see it.  These tables are amazing, and I’d bring either of these home in a heartbeat.

I also want a pair of ram or ibex bookends.

For my bedroom, I’m looking for a unique, antique side table or small writing table.  Something a little rustic or primitive.  This one is amazing.

I’d also love to continue to stock the Pursuing Vintage Shop with amazing finds, and these would be so fun to find:
