Yes, yes, it is true! I’m finally writing a blog post! And even MORE exciting is that I am about to start a new adventure – opening a brick and mortar Pursuing Vintage boutique! I have dreamed for quite awhile of owning a boutique, and it is finally happening. To say I’m over the moon is an understatement!
I’ve found the perfect little spot to showcase my curated vintage home decor pieces. It is located in Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC in a little “City” called City of Falls Church. It is a charming town, going through a growth spurt. The boutique is just down the road from the popular weekend farmer’s market, and right off the main downtown strip. There are many stores and restaurants within walking distance. In other words, it is PERFECT!
The boutique is located in a historic house that has recently been renovated by an upscale evening gown and bridal shop, Zoya’s Atelier. Zoya’s is run by a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law team that have just been a dream to work with. I am honored to be next to such talented ladies!
The space has amazing light, which is so important to my work. I will be continuing to sell online and increase the inventory offered online (see keep an eye out!). But there will be much more offered in the boutique! I will have some furniture pieces, a lot of art, pillows, candles, and other home goods. I’m thrilled to be offering Mira Jean Designs pillows, candles by Heritage & Belle, and art by the talented Charleston, South Caroline artist, Kerry Steele.
The boutique is open the second weekend of every month (starting this weekend! March 10-12!) and by appointment. If you are a designer looking for that perfect piece, let me know and you can stop over at your convenience!
If you’re in the area, please stop by! Stay up-to-date with Pursuing Vintage by signing up for the newsletter. You’ll get updates on The Latest new finds, plus get subscriber-only discounts! You can also keep up with me on Instagram and Facebook.
Thanks for reading. I’ve missed you all!
