We’ve had about four warm-ish days here in Virginia, and that’s enough to convince me (wishin’ and hopin’) that spring is finally trying to peek through that hot mess of a winter. It has me thinking all about blue and white porcelain, and how pretty it all is, especially when used to hold flowers and greenery.
Here are a few pieces I have in my home right now:

All your blue, white, and green look so beautiful, Kristen. I especially love your clover in the little bowl…I hope you don’t mind if I copy. Did you get the clover at TJ’s?
Thanks, Kathy! I found the clover at Safeway! Can you believe it??!
Did you put pebbles in the bottom of the bowl to keep it from getting water-logged? I may need a tutorial. 🙂
Hi, I just found your blog. I adore blue and white, it absolutely never goes out of style. I love vintage too and Lucite (here’s one of my articles to show you that we are in fact kindred spirits http://www.mbzinteriors.com/?p=20). Anyway, I have a client (the husband of the pair) that hates color. We’re going from a very brown room to a very gray and black room, Seriously? (I’m not gossiping, just venting). I wanted to throw in some blue and he wouldn’t have it. Once the gray room is complete, I might just sneak some in on reveal day and hope for the best! 🙂
I real loved the idea of white, blue and green themed decorations. The blue and white sets used as planters for small green plants is a great idea. Will try this certainly.
Thanks for sharing these lovely ideas Kristen.
I’m totally borrowing the idea of planting in a small porcelain teacup! Too cute.
