Emerald Green

I’m part Irish.  No, seriously, I am!  Although, a few years ago, my brother did some research and found out that we’re not AS IRISH as we thought we were (having Murphy grandparents, we thought we were half leprechaun).  It’s kind of become a family joke.  My brother even had this Tshirt made:

1:12 Irish

In honor of my Irish heritage (!) and St. Patrick’s Day, I thought I’d share some fabulous emerald green home decor!

Break out your emerald green, whether you wear it or decorate with it… you know, since we’re all Irish today!

My maiden name was Burke which is the second most popular surname in Ireland. My first name is well…. totally Irish. Its funny that green is just not one of my go to colors in decorating but I don’t hate it. I can’t think of any green in my house currently.

My husband is 1/2 Irish, and I now have a very old Irish last name, which I love and embrace! Happy Saint Patrick’s Day! I’m loving all the green goodness!!
