Today is Part Deux of the Faux Bamboo series.  I’m using a little French in honor of Le Tour de France… its a big thing in our house.  The Tour.  Not French.

I wish that could be me right now!

I’d like to first share with you a little beauty of a table I picked up.

Faux Bamboo Baker Style Table

I adore this table!  It is reminiscent of a Baker table, but this one doesn’t have a brass edge to the glass.  There is a small chip in the glass top, and you can see one of the legs under the glass (where the glass sits… right there in front) is worn, some of the finish is lacking.  Oh – and that’s just sidewalk chalk on my porch floor that you see back there!  Not green paint on the glass!

Here are some other Baker style tables:

The natural wood is such a perfect contrast against all of the other white wood in the room.

Modernized over a zebra rug.

And, more faux bamboo tables:

Metal faux bamboo trio of tables – Very interesting to look at, yet still keeps a space open.

Adorable set!

Cute side table.  Nice mirrored top.  I have a similar table from Ballard, but its not faux bamboo… wish I’d seen this one first!

A little gold glam bamboo never hurt anyone!

So what do you think of the tables?  Natural wood or painted?  Would you paint the one from my shop or leave it au naturel?  (I just wanted to use French one more time.)
