Kristen Alcorta Interiors launch

It’s official!  I’ve launched Kristen Alcorta Interiors, a full service interior design and photo styling business!

I’m so thrilled to share this expansion of my services with you!  Many of you have come to know me first as a “finder of treasures” – having had my boutique in Falls Church and online.  You’ve seen my business expand into photo styling for interior designers and architects.  And some of you know that I’ve quietly been offering interior design services by helping people refresh and create new spaces through beautiful furnishings, fabrics, art, and accessories.  The demand for interior design services has grown over the last couple of years, as had my love for the industry.  I’ve decided it’s time to combine what I love most: interior design, photo styling, and of course, home decor!

A new website is coming soon (I know – a PR pro probably would have told me to wait to announce until everything is in place, but what fun is that?!).  So for now, you can still find info on  The new website (soon to be will have information about all of my services, and a reorganized shop featuring unique vintage pieces as well as some of my favorite decor items.

If you’ve been thinking about giving your home a refresh, or creating a whole new design scheme that feels more like “you”, the beginning of the year is a great time to get a project started!  Let me help you create a stylish and functional home that reflects you!  I can’t wait to work with you!  Get in touch to get started!

2021 Was a Busy Year!

Some highlights from the past year:

  • Styling the cover of This Old House Magazine (photographed by Stacy Zarin Goldberg)
  • Styling a beautiful Arlington home for designer Susan Sutter and having it published on the cover of Kitchen & Bath Design News
  • Working closely with Colleen Avis Interiors to learn the intricate ins and outs of the design biz
  • Working with several really great interior design clients, helping with several bedroom redesigns, a basement living space refresh, two dining room refreshes,  several bathroom redesigns, and overall accessorizing!

I can’t wait to see what 2022 brings!  I hope you’ll be part of it!

Happy New Year!
