As 2015 comes to a close, it is a time to reflect on the ups and downs of the year, and look forward to the fresh start of a new year.
2015 was a time of challenges and changes for our family. A lot of things going on behind the scenes that contributed to the decision to publish fewer posts. The recognition that time is sacred – that you can’t have it back. Big Boy started kindergarten and I have less and less time with him. Baby Boy continues to be a “mama’s boy”, which of course can get overwhelming at times, but I’ve chosen to cherish the short time left that he’ll be asking to be held and snuggled. I’m grateful for a husband who has shown strength and bravery this year, and I am thankful for every day with him.
I’ll be somewhat happy to leave 2015 behind. I’m looking forward to 2016 – I feel that it’s going to be a great year. Actually, I know it’s going to be a great year. Perhaps even the best year yet.
May your 2016 bring you joy and happiness!
(You can find this wonderful printable here. And the brass leaf dish and mini hourglass are available in the Pursuing Vintage Shop.)
Update: The mini hourglass is no longer available.
Wishing you wonderful things in 2016. I’d love to collaborate with you on something so let’s see what we can come up with and how we can make it work.
Happy New Year.
That would be great, Shelly! I’ll be in touch!
