I had a great time Saturday at the Hometalk Hometown Hustle – an event held for us crazy bloggers in downtown Frederick, Maryland. I was a little nervous to attend, but I met a bunch of really nice women, and we ended up having a lot to talk about. It was so fun to meet the faces behind the computers! And let me tell you – Frederick has a lot to offer- so many unique shops!
Here are some photos from our shopping adventures (taken on my phone, sorry for the quality!).
These first few are from Sweet Clover Barn – I could have spent hours there! So many great vintage finds, and all staged beautifully.
These next few are from Silk & Burlap, a shop that integrates beautiful clothes with vintage and on-trend home goods.
Check out these chairs at Smokestack Studios. They have excellent mid century reproductions and originals (and I mean EXCELLENT).
I wish I had taken more photos – but honestly I was having too much fun chatting and shopping! You’ll just have to go check out Frederick yourself! Seriously – if you live in the area, plan a day. I’m embarrassed that I’ve lived in the DC area for 11 years and this was my first trip… (shameful!).
Thanks so much to all the sponsors!
Hometalk, Silk & Burlap, Sweet Clover, The Muse, The Skin Care Shop, Velvet Lounge, Jalapeno Photography, Whidden Hill, Citizen Frederick, Snickety Snacks, & Aspire.
Love the old map and that royal blue campaign desk! Frederick would make a great day destination from Richmond. Thanks for the idea!
Kristen I love the collection of old globes, so cool together! Congrats, can’t wait to hear more!
